Zhongheng Tengda Secures Billion-Yuan New Energy Project, Setting a New Industry Benchmark!

On October 14, 2024, Sichuan Zhongheng Tengda Electric Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the 195MW photovoltaic project at Dama Field in Lixian County, awarded by PowerChina Hydropower No.4 Engineering Bureau, Southwest Branch. This milestone achievement reflects the client’s strong recognition of Zhongheng Tengda’s comprehensive capabilities in the field of cable tray manufacturing.

The project site is located in Zagunao, Putou, and Guergou Townships of Lixian County, within the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, at altitudes ranging from 3,700 to 4,280 meters, characterized by high-altitude plateau terrain.

The Dama Field Photovoltaic Project is the first centralized solar power generation project in Lixian County, with a total investment of RMB 830 million. It comprises sixty 3.3MW photovoltaic arrays and one 2.1MW array, totaling an installed capacity of 195 megawatts, utilizing fixed mounting structures.

Once completed, the project will operate in conjunction with the Lionping Hydropower Station on the Zagunao River, forming a safe and stable green energy supply system through hydro-solar complementary power generation. It is expected to contribute 320 million kilowatt-hours of electricity to the local grid annually.
