Li County Damachang 195MW photovoltaic project

On October 14, 2024, Sichuan Zhongheng Tengda Electric Co., Ltd., leveraging its extensive industry experience, successfully won the bid for the 195MW photovoltaic project at Dama Field in Lixian, under the Southwest Branch of PowerChina Hydropower Fourth Engineering Bureau. This successful bid signifies the high recognition by the client of Sichuan Zhongheng Tengda Electric’s comprehensive strength in the field of cable tray manufacturing.

The project site is located in Zagunao, Putou, and Gergou Towns of Lixian County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an elevation ranging from 3,700 to 4,280 meters, characterized mainly by high mountain terraces. The Dama Field photovoltaic project is reported to be the first centralized photovoltaic power generation project in Lixian, with a total investment of 830 million yuan. It comprises sixty 3.3MW and one 2.1MW photovoltaic arrays, with a total installed capacity of 195MW, and operates on fixed supports. Once completed, it will rely on the Shiziping Hydropower Station on the Zagunao River in Lixian to form a safe and stable green energy supply system, achieving hydro-solar complementation and contributing 320 million kWh of electricity annually to the local power grid.
